CCHS looks for fifth-straight Chilton County Baseball Tournament title

The 2025 Chilton County Baseball Tournament is set to take place at its traditional location at Jack Hayes Field in downtown Clanton with all six local high school baseball teams vying for the title. Chilton County High School is looking for its fifth straight county baseball tournament title this year.
Games for the tournament are stretched out from March 10-15 with the tournament being double elimination. On March 10, Maplesville and CCHS will kick off the tournament in the first round at 4:30 p.m., followed by Verbena and Jemison High Schools in the second first-round matchup. From there, the winner of Maplesville and CCHS will advance to play Thorsby High School, and the winner of Verbena and Jemison will play Isabella High School in the second round of the winner’s bracket at 4:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. on March 11. No games will be held on March 12, and March 13 will narrow down the loser’s bracket and put the first team from the winner’s brackets into the championship game. March 14 will start at 4:30 p.m. with an elimination games in the loser’s bracket and the loser’s bracket final at 7 p.m. to decide who are the final teams remaining.
