Flapjacks For Everyone: 67th annual Pancake Day brings in hundreds

First Methodist Church of Clanton kept a longstanding tradition alive last month as their Methodist Men hosted the church’s 67th annual Pancake Day. The men of the church served up all-you-can-eat pancakes and sausages for over six hours inside the church’s activity center.

Preparations for Pancake Day began hours before helping the event go on without a hitch. For just $7, hungry residents came through in droves as they have for well over a half decade. Funds raised from Pancake Day will go towards community efforts, charities and local missions that First Methodist Church of Clanton supports.
