The 2025 Chilton County Softball Tournament will take place at Verbena High School from March 6-8 as teams look to dethrone the six-time defending champions Chilton County High School. Two days of pool play will get the tournament started on March 6 and 7, followed by bracket play on March 8 set from pool play to decide the county champion.

Chilton County, Isabella and Verbena High Schools were drawn into pool A and will play on March 6 starting with Verbena vs. CCHS at 3 p.m. Isabella faces Verbena afterwards at 4:30 p.m., and CCHS and Isabella close out night one at 6 p.m.

Jemison, Maplesville and Thorsby High Schools are in pool B and play on March 7 starting with Jemison vs. Maplesville at 3 p.m. Jemison and Thorsby follow at 4:30 p.m., and Maplesville vs. Thorsby closes out pool play at 6 p.m.

Championship Saturday on March 8 starts at 9 a.m. with the second-place team in pool A facing the third-place team in pool B at 9 a.m. The second-place team in pool B will face the third-place team in pool A at 11 a.m. The winners from the 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. games will advance to face the pool winners at 1 and 3 p.m. in the semifinals, and the championship game is scheduled for 5 p.m.

A rain alternative plan is in place if weather comes up, but it is not expected. However, if so, games will be moved to Chilton County High School or Jemison High School.
