Selma-based singer-songwriter Charlie Argo will be performing at Jefferson State Community College Chilton-Clanton Campus on Feb. 19 at 1 p.m. as part of the college’s Red Mountain Reading Series. He will be performing a concert of his original songs.

The college’s Red Mountain Reading Series was created to bring together the JSCC community to celebrate writing and other forms of art. Each spring, the series starts with an Evening of Performance to showcase art published in Wingspan magazine and student’s theatre performances. Throughout the spring semester, an array of authors read and discuss their writings at events at different JSCC campuses.

Pizza will be served at 12:30 p.m. before the concert starts at 1 p.m.
