Chilton County Schools will have an unplanned e-learning day on March 3.

Superintendent Corey Clements said the change was being made because of expected severe weather.

“Campuses will be closed with no students or staff on-site. Please stay safe,” Clements said.

The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook for Central Alabama listing the potential of winds of up to 60 mph for March 3. The storm is expected to reach Chilton County between 6 to 10 a.m.
