Magical times at the Chilton-Clanton Public Library

Magician Larry Darnell shows the children in attendance the first of many tricks with his special handkerchief.
Children flooded into the Mayor Jackson Room at the Chilton-Clanton Public Library to see the magic show on June 14.
Larry Darnell explained to the children the significance of the handkerchief and had them say “hocus pocus” before every magic trick.

Magician Larry Darnell brought his act to the children of Chilton County on June 14 performing at the Chilton-Clanton Public Library. Darnell performed many different tricks with the help of the children in attendance, and used a handkerchief to twist the minds in the room. The magic show was in conjunction with the library’s summer reading program “Oceans of Possibilities.”
