The Clanton City Council had a quick and to the point meeting on May 9 as it completed the meeting in a little more than five minutes.

During the meeting, the council unanimously approved a three-year lease with the YMCA for the city-owned building it is in.

A pool use agreement with the YMCA for the city pool was also approved.

The annual resolution with the state to receive reimbursement for mowing the state right-of-way was also approved.
