The Chilton County Sheriff’s Office has made four arrests in the investigation of possible methamphetamine sales.

Devon Lake Scott, 25; Courtney Nicole Joiner, 25; Madison Michelle Milton, 19; and Dustin Lee Minor, 27; were arrested on March 18 after a search in the 5000 block of County Road 754 in Clanton found approximately 18 grams of methamphetamine, “16 firearms, several thousand rounds of ammunition, several items of drug paraphernalia, and approximately $400 in cash,” according to information from CCSO.

“The Search Warrant was the result of an investigation involving individuals distributing methamphetamine from that location,” CCSO stated in a news release.

Each person was charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

Scott was also charged with possession of a pistol by drunk/addict.

Joiner also has an outstanding Grand Jury indictment on charges of chemical endangerment of a child.

“Scott and Joiner were out on bonds for previous felony arrests,” according to the release. “The Sheriff’s Office has asked the District Attorney’s Office to petition the Court to revoke those bonds. The Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Clanton Police Department.”
