Seven weeks of football down, just four more to go.

It is hard to believe how quickly it came and went, but the 2021 regular season is just a month away from drawing to a close.

With teams now entering the final stretch of their seasons, the playoffs start becoming a popular topic of conversation.

For some, the playoffs are not within reach. For others, it has been a near guarantee since week one that they would be playing in the postseason, barring injuries or something else unforeseen.

Then, there are others that are on the bubble, and their seasons can easily go one way or another.

There are teams in Chilton County that fall into all three of these categories.

With just a few weeks to go, it will be exciting to see how each finish out the regular season. Then, the real season gets underway, as teams compete for the ultimate goal, a state championship.

Before that can happen though, everyone has to finish out their playoff pushes, hoping they do well enough to clinch their spot.

Four more weeks to go. Then, the real fun begins.
