The Chilton County Board of Education approved needed personnel during a meeting on Aug. 31.

The certified employees approved included one teacher each for Maplesville High School, Verbena High School and Chilton County High School as well as a counselor for Jemison Intermediate School. Classified employees approved included an ACCESS facilitator for Verbena High School, a Pre-K employee for Clanton Elementary School, a classroom assistant for Isabella High School, a classroom assistant for Maplesville High School and a bus assistant.

Several substitutes were also approved.

Three resignations were approved, including bus drivers Angie Glass and Carol Wilson as well as Clanton Elementary teacher Kala Osborn.
