Dena Sue Holley, 85, of Jemison passed away Aug. 25, 2021 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center in Alabaster.

She was born May 18, 1936 in Tuscaloosa daughter of the late Robert Nichols and the late Beulah Maddox Holley.

She was a daycare owner.

Surviving are her daughters: Robin (Bill) Price and Diane (Phillip) Rachels; grandchildren: Christopher Lowery, Johnathan Rachels and Phil Rachels; 10 great-grandchildren; sister, Becky Christian; brothers, Eddie Nichols and Kenneth Nichols.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Ray Holley; father, Robert Clinton Nichols; mother, Beulah Mae Holley; sister, Sandra Hodo; brothers: Drew Nichols; Jerry Nichols and Hoyt Nichols; infant daughter, Debra Sue Smith.

Friends will be received Saturday, Aug. 28, 2021 from 10-11 a.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Services will be held Saturday, Aug. 28, 2021, at 11 a.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Allen Foster officiating.

Interment will follow in Midway Memorial Gardens in Jemison.
