MONTGOMERY POST — A single-vehicle crash in Chilton County involving a pedestrian approximately 9:46 p.m. on April 9 has claimed the life of a Danville man.
Zachary Rutherford, 31, was fatality injured when he was struck by a 1994 Ford Recreational Vehicle driven by Huimin Harrison, 41, of Madison, Wisconsin. Rutherford was transported to a local area hospital where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased. The crash occurred on Interstate 65 at the 198 mile marker, approximately seven miles south of Clanton. Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
