Tamara Boman of Clanton has released her fifth book “The Anointing Destroys the Yoke.”

The book is about prayer, spiritual warfare and overcoming difficult obstacles.

“Spiritual warfare is the backbone of our ministry (Waters of Everlasting Life) because our ministry is a deliverance ministry,” Boman said. “… I help people disentangle themselves from things that are keeping them from going forward in life.”

The book is written especially for women.

“I am encouraging women to take authority of their lives,” Boman said. “I use the cornerstone scripture Genesis 3:15 ‘her seed shall bruise his head.’”

She said women face so many challenges in life, especially now with the pandemic.

“But the Lord has given us a promise that we shall bruise the head of Satan,” Boman said. “We shall bruise the head of anything that comes against us that does not align with God because we have that authority. This book encourages us that we are overcomers.”

Topics in the book highlight the importance of speaking positive things into your life, forgiveness, walking with God, insight in getting past challenges, keys to focus on seeing good things in life and the role of angels in spiritual warfare.

“The closer we are to Him during the storms, it breaks those yokes (chains),” Boman said.

The book is dedicated to those who work in hospice.

“Because during the most trying times I saw them use the gift of hospitality,” Boman said. “They went beyond the call of duty. They saw people dying at alarming rates and dying alone (during the COVID-19 pandemic).”

She said many had to make personal sacrifices to keep their family during the pandemic also.

The book is available at www.nosoul-leftbehind.com.

Boman is a 2009 graduate of The University of Alabama. She started writing books after college, but had always enjoyed sharing stores.
