“A Timely Message”

“The more you read, The more you know. The more you know, The smarter you grow. The smarter you grow, The stronger your voice, when speaking your mind or making your choice.”

Welcome to the month of March from your Chilton/Clanton Public Library.

Hope everyone is well!

We are so excited to announce the library has a great collection of “New” non-fiction adult books.

This is an area where we have not had the funds to purchase books for this area. This was a monetary gift given to the Chilton/Clanton Public Library by one of our patrons.

We would like to remind you about the eBooks online service. This is a free service and all you need is a library card and tablet or other electronic device that can access the internet.

You can come by the library and our staff will show you how to use this service. Instructions can also be found at chiltonclantonlibrary.org/ebooks-audiobooks

During March, we have “Mystery Grab Bags” for children. They are available at the front desk. Bring you children by and pick them up.

The Alabama State Income Tax forms are in. We are expecting our Federal forms at any time.

Friends of the Chilton/Clanton Public Library is a newly-created nonprofit organization whose mission is to promote the library in all its endeavors. Friends of Chilton/Clanton Public Library believe that the library is an integral part of our community because it affects the cultural, educational and economic well-being of Chilton County residents. Current projects include conducting a needs assessment, helping the library procure funds to enhance distance learning, and updating audiovisual equipment to support participation in Zoom meetings and other group events requiring internet access.

Please know that we are keeping everything clean and sanitized for the public and staff.
