Billy Joe Driver, 84, of Clanton, Alabama passed away July 9, 2020 at St. Vincent’s in Birmingham, Alabama.
He was born November 16, 1935 in Clanton, Alabama, and was the son of the late Joseph Ress Driver and Ruth Driver.
He was the Mayor of the City of Clanton.
Surviving are his Son, Middleton Keith (Chrisie) Driver, Daughter, Kim (Keith) Hayes, Daughter, Amber Bingham, Brother, Don (Sue) Driver; Granddaughter, Joy (Kyle) Aldridge, Granddaughter, Jill (Daniel) Furlong, Granddaughter, Lindsay (Todd) Guin, Granddaughter, Carrie (Brian) Hayes, 9 Great Grandchildren, a host of Nieces and Nephews, Special Relative, Ruby Driver, Special Friend, Debbie Orange.
He was preceded in death by his Father, Joseph Ress Driver, Mother, Ruth Kate Driver and Brother, Joseph Howard Driver.
Friends will be received for a Walk-Through Visitation, Monday, July 13, 2020 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Clanton City Hall .
Graveside Service will be held Tuesday, July 14, 2020, at 11 a.m. at Temple Assembly of God Cemetery with Royce Ellison, officiating.
