The Clanton Advertiser is accepting applications for interns for summer 2020.

This opportunity is open to college students in their junior year or higher studying journalism or communications related fields.

An internship is an essential part of preparing for a career. Summer interns will gain experience writing feature stories, covering government meetings, taking photos and many of the other aspects of working for a community newspaper.

Interns will also get experience writing for the many special sections produced by The Clanton Advertiser.

Interns will work the equivalent of 10 weeks of 20 hours a week.

The Clanton Advertiser will work with students to ensure the internship meets qualifications for college credit when applicable.
