For the second-straight year, a professional wrestling event will be coming to Chilton County.

The event will be brought about through a partnership with Chilton County High School and Victory Championship Wrestling.

It is scheduled for Feb. 7 at the CCHS gymnasium located at 1214 Seventh St. S in Clanton. Doors will open at 6 p.m., with the matches starting at 7 p.m.

Advance tickets are $5, while tickets purchased at the door on the night of the event will be $10.

Proceeds from the night will benefit the CCHS football program.

The Tigers have advanced to the postseason in Class 5A the past two years and will make the jump to compete in 6A next season.
