The Chilton County Chamber of Commerce and visiting members of the community welcomed a brand new business to Clanton Sept. 19.

Restore Outpatient Therapy Services hosted a grand opening and ribbon cutting at its new location in Park Plaza just down from Senior Connection.

“We have an outpatient clinic here that provides physicals, physical therapy and speech therapy for individuals in Clanton and the surrounding area,” said Chief Development Officer Thomas Grier with Restore. “We do follow-ups with physicians. We take care of patients one on one. A lot of clinics that we compete with do group therapy with two or three individuals at one time. We do one on one.”

Grier said Restore has 118 contract locations. These are set up across Alabama and Florida.

“This is by far is our nicest facility, and one of our largest outpatient clinics we have under the company umbrella,” he said.

Restore is the contract therapy company for Hatley Health Care in Clanton, and Grier said Restore began getting a lot of referrals in this area, which led to the company opening the new location.

“If you go to Hatley, you’re going to be treated by a Restore therapist,” he said. “We started seeing a community need when people started discussing what alternatives were there in terms of inpatient therapy. We saw the need, and we wanted to fill that need by coming to Clanton and establishing an outpatient clinic.”

Restore is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Grier said it is exciting for the company to have the new location open and ready to help patients.

“We have hit many milestones in this company, and I think this is one of those milestones,” he said. “This is a new market offering service to the people in Clanton and the surrounding area. It makes me feel great. It’s almost like a new chapter in our company’s life. We see that there is great opportunity here in Clanton, and we are very excited about that.”
