Cynthia Kay “Cindy” Easterling

Cynthia Kay “Cindy” Easterling, 62, of Dadeville, Alabama, passed away Saturday, May 18, 2019, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Cindy was born in Tuskegee, Alabama, on September 30, 1956, a daughter of the late Herbert Fielder Ruff and Ethel Pauline “Polly” Travis Ruff.

She was the wife of Tommy Ray Easterling. Cindy was a bookkeeper and accountant with her family business; when she wasn’t working, she was dedicating her time and efforts toward taking care of her family.

In addition to her husband, Cindy is survived by a son, Joseph Easterling and his wife, Alison, of Apex, North Carolina; two sisters, Linda Barnes, of Dadeville, Alabama; Debbie Vannoy and her husband, Jerry, of Campobello, South Carolina; two brothers, Jimmy Ruff and his wife, Teresa, of Clanton, Alabama; and David Ruff, of Maplesville, Alabama.

Mrs. Easterling is also survived by four nephews: Paul, Jamie, Jason and George; three nieces: Erin, Michelle and Jessica; four great-nephews: Mikey, Braxton, Rowen and Hunter; six great-nieces: Isabella, Melissa, Rebecca, Courtney, Danielle and Alyson; one great-great-niece, Allie; and one great-great-nephew, Tyler.

A celebration of life service will be held, at 2 p.m., Sunday, May 26, 2019, at Overlook Hills Church of God, 1401 Merrifield Drive, Valley Grande, Alabama.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, PO Box 2151, St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee, 38101-2151.
