The Humane Society of Chilton County will hold its annual auction fundraiser at Hidden Meadow Vineyard in Jemison on June 8 at 7 p.m.

Hors d’oeuvres and wine samples will be served.

Tickets are $10 at the door.

“We have had a lot of donations from local businesses,” board secretary Amy Nicholas said. “They have really stepped up.”

MorLyn’s has donated a bracelet.

Several businesses have donated gift cards to the auction including Rustique Relics, dog grooming businesses as well as local hair and nail salons. Ashlyn Postel and Jeremy Black have each donated an art print.

Back by popular demand, Diana Hiott has donated some of her dolls and paintings.

“I know everybody loves her dolls,” Hiott said.

Nicholas said a percentage of all sales of bottles of wine during the event will go to the Humane Society.

Caryl and Allan will be the featured entertainment.

“They have been our entertainment at several of our events,” Nicholas said.

She said she enjoys their talent and laid back style.

“They are fun, and they interact with the audience,” Nicholas said.
