James Marvin Kelley

James Marvin Kelley, 88, of Verbena, died Tuesday, January 1, 2019.

He was born Thursday, December 11, 1930, in Chilton Co., AL, son of the late Lee Edward Kelley and the late Pearlie Mims Kelley.

He was a Farmer.

Surviving are his wife of 70 years, Mildred Louise Kelley, of Verbena, AL; sons, Wendell (Janice) Kelley of Verbena, AL, Randell (Wilma) Kelley of Verbena, AL, David (Jeffery) Kelley of Red Bay, AL, and Daniel (Sharon) Kelley of Verbena, AL; 8 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-granddaughter, a host of nieces, nephews and other family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lee & Pearlie Kelley, brother, Rubin Kelley, and sister, Velma Knight.

Friends will be received beginning at 6:00 p.m. Friday, January 4, 2019, at Chestnut Creek Baptist Church.

Services will be Saturday, January 5, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. at Chestnut Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Billy Boatwright and Rev. Rodney Ridgeway officiating.

Interment will follow in Chestnut Creek Bapt. Cemetery, Verbena, AL.
