Real Estate Associates in Clanton hosted its annual Christmas party on Dec. 11.

Guests were welcomed around lunchtime, and several homemade dishes and other items were available.

According to owner Diane Knight, Real Estate Associates puts on this event year as a way to say thanks to all of their clients.

“It’s a time where we can show how much we appreciate them; all of our attorneys, our title people, our lenders and our customers,” Knight said. “It gets me in the Christmas spirit, too.”

Guests were encouraged to enter a drawing for a myriad of door prizes, which included items like Christmas gift baskets.

The Clanton Middle School choir was on hand to serenade the guests as they ate lunch.

This was the first time the CMS choir has performed at the event.

“They have been just excellent,” Knight said. “I am so glad they came. I am going to make a donation to them, because they are a fantastic group of kids.”

Knight said Real Estate Associate employee Darlene Rice’s daughter is a member of the choir. Knight said that was how she was able to request the group come sing at the party.

“I hope they come back next year. I really enjoyed their singing,” she said.

Knight said the turnout at this year’s event was better than last year. The office was filled with food and fellowship.

“We have had an awesome turnout,” Knight said. “I’m glad they have all come out.”
