Three people were injured in a crash on the off ramp for Interstate 65 N, Exit 200 on June 26.

According to Corp. Jesse Thornton with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, the accident was between a 2003 Oldsmobile and 2007 Freightliner commercial vehicle at around 1 p.m.

Three people in the Oldsmobile were injured, two of which were children.

“One of the injuries was serious and flown by helicopter to Children’s Hospital,” Thornton said. “Another injury was taken to UAB.”

Alabama State Troopers are investigating the crash.
