Maplesville Heritage Day is coming

Vendor applications are being accepted for Maplesville Heritage Day.
This year’s event will be April 14 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Applications are available at the Maplesville Town Hall, Maplesville Supermarket, Maplesville Florist and Bakeshop, Chevron and Valle Grande Mexican Grill on Main Street.
This annual event raises an average of $1,500 and between $2,000 for the Maplesville Fire Department.
“Doing this we get the community together and just have a fun fellowship day,” MFD member Christine Epperson said. “We try to keep something going in our small, little town.”
Epperson said she enjoys seeing how 3everyone comes together for the event.
Arts and Crafts and food vendors are a staple of the festival. Spots with or without electricity are available with the cost varying for each.
Musical performances will be featured throughout the day. Perfect Peaches Line Dancing will perform from 10 to 10:30 a.m. Kountry Knite will also be performing. Additional performers are expected.
JAC’s Party Rentals will sponsor the children’s area again this year with inflatables and games.
The Maplesville Library will also hold its annual book sale during the event

Maplesville Heritage Day is held along Main Street.
Roads will be blocked off from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. for the event.
