Eva Grace Billingsley

Eva Grace Billingsley, age 84 of the Mineral Springs Community in Clanton, passed away Friday, May 12, at her residence.

She was born in Chilton County on Feb. 26, 1933, the daughter of the late Euell Curtis Robinson and the late Gurtys Gore Robinson.

She was a former bookkeeper. Grace was a faithful member of the Mineral Springs Baptist Church, where she served for many years as church treasurer, and also loved to participate in the choir. She was also a loving mother, GiGi to her grandchildren, sister, and a friend to many.

She is survived by her daughter, Dian Owens of Prattville; daughter, Nancy (Ronnie) Sewell of Clanton; daughter, Alice (Steve) Floyd of Prattville; four grandchildren; four great grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Kathy Billingsley of Clanton; sister, Susie R. Williams (James) Moore of Clanton; along with a host of other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Ocie Billingsley; and a son, James E. “J.B.” Billingsley.

Visitation was held Sunday, May 14 from 5-8 p.m. at Ellison Memorial Funeral Home in Clanton.

Funeral services will be held Monday, May 15 at 11 a.m. from the chapel of Ellison Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. Jason Green officiating. Burial will follow in the Mineral Springs Baptist Cemetery in Clanton.
