Karl Alden Langland

Karl Alden Langland, 94 of Clanton, and Madge, Wisconsin, died Tuesday, March 21 in Monahans, Texas.

He is survived by his wife, Bobbie Langland; six children, Mina Twitchell, Karl Lars Langland, Erle Langland, Elton Langland, Charlene Langland, and Conrad Langland; his sister, Joan Kay Williamson; his sister-in-law, Doris Jones; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

His wife Dorothy Green Langland preceded him in death in 1974 and his second wife Martha Rogers Langland preceded him in death in 2014.

Karl was born on May 14, 1922 in Couderay, Wisconsin. He attended the University of Wisconsin for one year and retired from the USAF in 1970. He was buried in Monahans, Texas on March 24, 2017.

A memorial service will be held at Highland Baptist Church in Clanton on Saturday, May 13 at 2 p.m. All are welcome.
