Louise B. Mitchell, 89, of Clanton died Tuesday, May 17, 2016, at Hatley Health Care in Clanton.

She was born on Saturday, July 24, 1926, in Highland Home, daughter of the late Gillis Bennett and the late Carrie E. Stough Bennett.

She was a homemaker.

Surviving are sons, William E. (Judy) Mitchell, Jr. of Spring, Texas, Ronnie C. (Paula) Mitchell of Clanton; daughter, Carrie R. Mitchell of Canton, Texas; granddaughter, Teri Kay Oubre of Childersburg; three great granddaughters, numerous nieces and nephews; sister-in-law, Edna Hill of Russellville; brother-in-law, Leon Elliott of Tuscumbia.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William E. Mitchell.

Friends will be received from 5-7 p.m., Friday, May 20 at Martin Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, May 21 at 11 a.m. at Rocky Mount Cemetery in Highland Home.
