The Woman’s Study Club met March 17 at the Alabama Power Company with Marlaine Norman as hostess, and Martha Gothard as program chairman.

Nancy Shannon, president, called the meeting to order with the club members repeating the Club Collect.

Linda Hand gave the treasurer’s report.

Martha Gothard gave a most interesting program on the art of quitting.

She displayed some beautiful Christmas and fall quilts.

Also, she gave instructions in designing the blocks, which are sewn together to make the quilts.

Refreshments were served, and the club was dismissed with the members repeating Mizpah.

The next meeting will be the dinner meeting held April 21 at 6 p.m. at the Alabama Power Company with Renee Morgan as hostess.
