Bentley Eric Jones, 4, of Clanton, passed away suddenly on March 29.

He was born in Bessemer on Aug. 31, 2011, the son of Chad Eric Jones and Sonya Nicole Gardner.

He was a loving child who loved racecars.

He is survived by his father, Chad Jones of Clanton; mother, Sonya Gardner of Clanton; brothers, Brentley and Colton Jones of Clanton; grandparents, Tommy and Rita Jones of Clanton; grandparents, Roy and Patsy Coggins of Jemison; grandmother, Nicole Hiebert of Clanton; aunts and uncles, Ashley Jones, Brandon and Page Beck, Derrick and Kayla Cleckler, Robby and Taylor Gardner, Tamaria Scott and Anna, Justin and Courtney Lucas, Scott and Sherry Foshee and Keith and Shannon Coggins, along with numerous great-grandparents, great uncles and aunts, cousins and other friends.

He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Sabrina K. Little and great uncle, Kevin Little.

Visitation was held April 1 from 5-8 p.m. at the Clanton Church of God.

Funeral services will be held April 2 at 11 a.m. from the Clanton Church of God with the Rev. Billy Boatwright officiating.

Burial will follow in the Mt. Pisgah Cemetery in Clanton.
