The World’s Church of the Living God has scheduled its 40th Church Anniversary and Pastor Appreciation for Sunday, March 27 at 11:30 a.m.

The church will recognize Pastor Elijah Good and his wife, Mrs. Ruth Good, for their tireless labor and sacrifice to the ministry and community.

The theme of this year’s anniversary, “The Mirror of Faith” is supported

by the scripture James 1:25 which reads: “But whoso looketh into the perfect law of

liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful learner, but a doer of the work,

this man shall be blessed in his deed.” And, I Timothy 5:17, which reads, “Let the elders

that rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially they who labour in the

word and doctrine.”

Special guests for the celebration will attend from the World’s Church of the Living God churches from Chattanooga, Tenn.; Memphis, Tenn.; Sommerville, Ga.; Atlanta, Ga.; Nashville, Tenn. and Port St.Lucie, Fla.

The anniversary celebration will be held at the World’s Church of the Living God in Clanton, located at 1205 Second Ave. N.
