County leaders not fixing road problems

Dear editor:

To the people of Chilton County, our roads have holes in them like little wells. They are dangerous to travel on, and if you try to miss one hole, you will hit another one a little bigger.

I know those holes are dangerous. I really don’t know who is in charge of the roads, the commissioners or the engineers? I do know someone is not doing their job or we would have better roads in our county.

Maybe if we had four commissioners like we did with each in his own district, maybe our roads would be better. It sure takes a lot of commissioners to run this small county.

People, let’s elect a new crew and give them a chance. We do know that these other ones have done nothing for us.

Let’s see if we can have better roads in our county and fill in some of the holes.

So think twice when you go to vote. Are you satisfied with the holes in our roads? This is left up to the voters.
