The Isabella High School Spelling Bee was held on Jan. 14.

Six contestants participated in the bee.

Madison Davis was the winner with Leah Porter coming in as alternate.

Davis’ winning word was “stagflation.”

These ladies will advance to the county spelling bee on Feb. 3.

Students who participated in the bee include Leah Porter (alternate), Madison Davis (winner), Branden Evans, Braxton Vinson, Jacob Lane and Madison Rhodes.
