Eugene G. Powell, 58, of Clanton, passed away Jan. 18 at his home surrounded by family.

He was born March 11, 1957.
He is survived by his wife, Anita J. Powell; son, Gary Tanton (Carol); daughter, Sheila Kidd (Bruce); daughter, Pam Marchant (Greggory); son, Michael Powell (Tracy); daughter, Amanda Tucker (Brandon); 17 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and a host of family and friends.
Visitation will be held Jan. 21 from 5-8 p.m. at Agee Brother’s Funeral Home.
It was Powell’s wishes to be cremated, and the family will honor his wishes.
