The Jemison Panthers boys basketball team lost for the first time in quite a while with a 59-49 defeat on the road against Central High in Tuscaloosa.

The loss snapped the Panthers five-game winning streak.

Jemison dug itself in a deep hole early on, as the Panthers trailed 14-5 after the first quarter. However, the Panthers fought back and cut the deficit to five points, 43-38 entering the fourth quarter.

Unfortunately, the comeback attempt fell short, but not before Tremont Bryant and Matthew Ramsey each finished the game with double figures scoring. Bryant had 12 points while Ramsey accounted for 10 points.
