Sheila Ann Gleason, 48, of Foley, met her Lord and Savior on Nov. 12 after a courageous battle with cancer.

Sheila was born in Maylene on Dec. 26, 1966, to Billy Lee Seal and Elizabeth Ann Seal.

Sheila married Faron Kyle Gleason on Jan. 1, 1986.

Sheila is preceded in death by her parents, Billy Lee Seal, Elizabeth Ann Seal; a sister, Mary Jane Ray; her mother-in-law, Arletta Gleason and her brother-in-law, Kenneth Gleason.

She is survived by her husband, Faron Kyle Gleason of Foley; her daughters, Kandice Welch (Kevin) of Foley and Jennifer Gleason of Montgomery,her grandchildren, Savannah Welch, Jasmine Welch, Kaleb Welch, Kaden Welch and Matthew Welch; siblings, Tommy Taylor (Tamera) of Thorsby, Jimmy Taylor (Elaine) of Thorsby, Rick Taylor (Polly) of Thorsby, Terry Thorsby (Delora) of Calera; Sue Cherry Smith of Clanton.

Sheila loved reading her bible every day

In addition, she enjoyed spending time with her grandkids.

Visitation was Nov. 15 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Pine Rest Funeral Home.

Funeral services were Nov. 16 at 2 p.m. at Three Circle Church in Fairhope and interment followed directly after at Pine Rest Memorial Park.
