William Joseph (Billy) Lawrence, 84, of Pinson, died Oct. 28 at St. Martin in the Pines in Birmingham.

He was born on Jan. 1, 1931, in Chilton County, the son of the late J.P. Lawrence Sr. and the late Carrie Louise Godger Lawrence.

He was in law enforcement and a photographer.

Surviving are his wife, Nedra M. Lawrence of Malbis; daughter, Belinda Ticheli (Leo) of Birmingham; sons, Lynn Seales (Toni) of Birmingham; William Keith Lawrence (Wanda) of Defuniak Springs, Fla.; Derek Austin Lawrence of Fairhope; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and sister, Grace Donovan (Frank) of Maybank, Texas.

Friends will be received from 1-2 p.m. Oct. 30 at Martin Funeral Home.

Services will be held Oct. 30 at 2 p.m. at Martin Chapel.

Interment will follow in Martin Memorial Cemetery in Clanton.
