Festivities leading up to Maplesville’s homecoming football game Oct. 9 against Ellwood Christian included a parade, pep rally and a reunion for the Maplesville High School Class of 1957.

Reunion attendees enjoyed a covered dish supper prior to attending the game, which Maplesville won, 54-18.

In attendance were 10 class members and their spouses, including: Dale Green, Harold Motley, Edward Fuqua, Ed Higginbotham, Helen T. Carlson, Jimmy Johnson, William Leslie Benton, Joann Lawley Day, Ken Mitchell and Jimmie Harrison Jr.

Class members said they are already planning for next year’s reunion.
