West End Baptist Church hosted Vacation Bible School last week with a commencement service on June 5. There were 420 kids who attended and 21 decisions and one rededication. There were also 105 gallons of Kool-Aid used throughout the week, 3,000 cookies consumed, 1,448 bags of potato chips eaten, five pounds of animal crackers used, 12 pounds of Goldfish crackers served, five pounds of “guppies,” 50 pounds of sugar, 1,800 Styrofoam cups and 700 pounds of ice used.
