Jemison’s soccer team defeated Carver-Birmingham 5-1 on Saturday in the first round of the state playoffs.
Abdias Rangel and Michael Angeles each scored two goals in the victory, and Brian Amador added one goal.
The Panthers were scheduled to visit Helena on Tuesday for a second-round game.
