Weekend Easter egg hunts draw large crowds (photo gallery)

Several Easter egg hunts were held in Chilton County on April 4. A community wide Easter egg hunt was held at Clanton First United Methodist Church beginning at 10 a.m. at the Helen E. Parrish Activity Center in Clanton. Children of all ages participated in various games as well as an egg hunt which started around 10:15 a.m.

An Easter egg hunt was also held at Chestnut Creek Baptist Church at noon with the event beginning at 10 a.m. and ending at 2 p.m. which included games, food and prizes. Donations were collected at the event to support the children’s and student ministries at the church.
