Betty Lou Minshew McCay Turner

Betty Lou Minshew McCay Turner, 80, of Clanton, passed away on Feb. 2 at her residence.

She was born in Birmingham on March 21, 1934, the daughter of the late Emmett Minshew and the late Ozella Terry Minshew.

She was a former LPN.

She is survived by daughters, Sharon (Lewis) Moore of Clanton, Connie King of Franklin, Tenn. and Carolyn Winch of Pablo West, Colo.; son, Frank (Tina) Turner of Pablo West, Colo.; 14 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; and a sister, Shirley Porterfield of Opelika.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Alfred D. Turner; parents, Emmett and Ozella Minshew; and a brother, Ted Minshew.

Funeral services will be held on Feb. 7 at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Ellison Memorial Funeral Home with the Rev. Shawn Core officiating.

The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service.
