Louie Douglas Vines

Louie Douglas Vines, 64, of Clanton, passed away on Oct. 28 at his residence. He was born in Chilton County on Dec. 10, 1949, the son of the late Louie Vines and the late Willodean Ellison Vines.

He managed his own company for 25 years.

He is now rejoicing with his mother, father, and sister in the presence of the Lord.

He is survived by his wife, Becky Vines of Clanton; daughter, Beverly (Jimmy) Nance of Fosters; granddaughter, Miranda Stewart of Fosters; brothers, Roger Vines (Nadine), Jimmy Vines, and Ray Vines all of Clanton; sisters, Debra Billingsley (Butch) of Birmingham, and Sandy Henley (Gene) of Clanton, and a host of nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father, Louie Vines; mother, Willodean Vines and a sister, Jo Ann Roper.

Visitation will be held Oct. 29 from 5-8 p.m. at Ellison Memorial Funeral Home in Clanton.

Funeral services will be held Oct. 30 at 1 p.m. from the Lime Springs United Methodist Church with Bro. Roger Vines and the Rev. Jim Shannon officiating.

The body will be in state one hour prior to the service at the church.

Burial will follow in the Lime Springs United Methodist Cemetery in Clanton.
