Inez P. Martin, 82, of Clanton, passed away Jan. 19 at Cullman Regional Medical Center in Cullman.

She was born on Feb. 5, 1931, in Chilton County, the daughter of the late James Reedie Patterson and the late Grace Wilson Patterson.

She worked at the board of registrars.

Surviving are her sons, Marvin Martin (Jan) of Opelika, Joe Martin (Mavis) of Cullman; grandsons, J.R. Martin of Opelika, Daniel Hendrix of Birmingham; granddaughter, Jennifer Martin of Opelika; sisters, Mary Sample (Sidney) of Little Rock, Ark., Betty Cook (Bobby) of Clanton.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Marvin Martin.

Friends will be received from noon-1 p.m. Jan. 22 at Martin Funeral Home.

Services will be held Jan. 22 at 1 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Interment will follow in Martin Memorial Cemetery in Clanton.
