Charles Ray Kromer Jr., 58, of Jemison, passed away Jan. 5.

He was born on Dec. 25, 1955, in Clanton, the son of Charles Ray Kromer and the late Mary Alice Martin Kromer.

He was a carpenter.

Surviving are his daughters, Charity Kromer of Columbiana; Krystal Kromer of Columbiana; son, Keith Brasher of Clanton; grandchildren, Zachary Williams, Nathan Williams, Haley Williams, Kevin Brasher, Mark Brasher, DeWayne Brasher, Brittany Brasher and Shelby Brasher; father, Charles Ray Kromer of Clanton; brother, Steve Kromer of Clanton; and sister, Sheila (Michael) Crocker of Maplesville.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Alice Martin Kromer, and sister, Cynthia Renae Kromer.

Friends will be received from 5-8 p.m. Jan. 7 at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Services will be held Jan. 8 at 2 p.m. at Mineral Springs Baptist Church.

Interment will follow in Mineral Springs Cemetery in Clanton.

The family requests no flowers but donations be made to the funeral fund.
