Teresa Lee Mims, 56, of Jones died Monday, Dec. 30, 2013, at Shelby Baptist Medical Center in Alabaster.

She was born on Friday, Jan. 18, 1957, in Dallas County, daughter of Grady Lee Burnett and the late Mable Sealy Burnett.

She was a general service worker.

Surviving are her husband, James Mims of Jones; sons, Brandon (Summer) Lawley of Ashville and Josh (Tabetha) Lawley of Randolph; father, Grady Burnett of Maplesville; brothers, Tony (Sheila) Burnett of Maplesville and Lee (Becky) Burnett of Maplesville; sister, Cindy (Roger) Smitherman of Centreville; and seven grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Mabel Burnett.

Friends will be received from 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 1 at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Services will be held Thursday, Jan. 2 at 2 p.m. at Plantersville Christian with the Rev. Mike Wyatt officiating.

Interment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens in Maplesville.
