Funeral services for Lois E. Tyus, 72, of Verbena, will be Dec. 28 at 1 p.m. from Lily Hill Baptist Church in Marbury.

Interment will be at Lily Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.

Tyus leaves to cherish her memory seven children; Gwendolyn Tyree of Marbury; Demeatrice Saunders of Philadelphia, Pa.; Sherrilyn Sanders (Dwayne) of Marbury; Nadine Tyus of Verbena; Maurice Tyus (Rose) of Clanton; Rodney Tyus (Vondell) of Millbrook; Tracy Tyus (Candice) of Deatsville; and one grandchild she raised as her own; ShaVonda Tyus of Atlanta, Ga.; 16 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; five siblings; and host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends of the family.
