Edward Kupiec, 95, of Jemison and formerly of Massachusetts, passed away on Dec. 23 at his home.

He was born on June 21, 1918, in Massachusetts, the son of the late Edward and Julia Kupiec.

He was a factory worker and served his country faithfully in the U.S. Army during World War II.

He is survived by his wife, Irene May Kupiec of Jemison and daughter-in-law Lilana Kupiec of Jemison.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Julia Kupiec and his son, Edward L. Kupiec.

Visitation was Dec. 27 from 5-7 p.m. at Ellison-Cleckler Funeral Home in Clanton.

Funeral services were also held Dec. 27 immediately following the visitation at 7 p.m. from the Memorial Chapel of Ellison-Cleckler Funeral Home with the Rev. Victoria Merneth officiating.
