Virgil Lamar “Pete” Barber, 52, of Clanton, passed away Dec. 23.

He was born on July 28, 1961, in Alabama.

He was owner of Pete’s Wrecker Service.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda Barber of Clanton; son, Phillip Barber of Clanton; daughter, Lisa Wise (Daniel) of Clanton; grandchildren, Austin, Cody, Jason, Zach, Noah, Dallas, Rianna, Caden, Ayden and Elyse.

Friends will be received from 5-8 p.m. Dec. 26 at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Services will be held Dec. 27 at 1 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Olen Hutchins Jr. officiating.

Interment will follow in Martin Memorial Cemetery in Clanton.
