Larry Gene McCormick, 60, of Clanton, passed away Dec. 20 at Midland Memorial Hospital in Texas.

He was born on Dec. 3, 1953, in Talladega, the son of the late Eulis McCormick and Myrline Wallace Redmon.

He was an accountant and homebuilder.

Surviving are his wife, Nina McCormick of Clanton; son, Ben McCormick of Clanton; daughter, Beth (Casey) Meank of Clanton; grandchildren, Kayla McCormick of Montevallo, Brady McCormick of Clanton, Jonah Davenport of Calera, Dylan McCormick of Clanton, Jonah Davenport of Clanton, Dylan McCormick of Clanton, Cayden Meank of Clanton, Carly Meank of Clanton; mother, Myrline (Ralph) Redmon of Anniston; sister, Donna Callahan (Boyce) of Anniston.

He was preceded in death by his father, Eulis McCormick.

Family requests no flowers but donations can be made to Weekday Education at First Baptist Church in Clanton.

Friends will be received from noon-2 p.m. Dec. 28 at First Baptist Church in Clanton.

Services will be held Dec. 28 at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Matt DeBord officiating.

Interment will follow in Martin Memorial Cemetery in Clanton.
