Janie Lorene Trammel Hughey, 77, of Clanton, passed away on Dec. 18 at Jackson Hospital in Montgomery.

She was born in Autauga County on April 21, 1936, the daughter of the late Guy Alexander Hughey and the late Ida Owens Hughey.

She was a former arranger with Herff Jones Publishing Company.

She is survived by her daughter, Mary Jane Dennis (John Wayne) of Prattville; daughter, Lisa Trammel of Prattville; daughter, Shelah Shiers (Dennie) of Clanton; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one niece and one great niece.

Funeral services will be held Dec. 21 at 3 p.m. from the Memorial Chapel of Ellison-Cleckler Funeral Home with the Rev. Joey Fine officiating.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

Burial will follow in Shiloh Baptist Cemetery in Clanton.
